The Layer Cake Wines brand, created by renowned winemaker Jayson Woodbridge of cult wine Hundred Acre, is unique, a conversation starter. Not content to sit back and relax, the marketing team wanted to take the brand to the next level. TMMG agreed and began to strategically introduce Layer Cake to highly desirable individuals within targeted market segments These one-on-one experiences happened via exclusive wine tasting events at venues such as the luxury condominium tower BLU, the Fleet Week VIP Party, Richmond Emmet Aids Foundation fundraiser and the Auction Event at San Francisco’s October Open Studios. A substantial increase in the number of Layer Cake’s Facebook fans and website hits followed each event and became a reliable measure of success.
